About the Role

Suwanee Appliance Garage is expanding, reaching more customers each day in the Metro Atlanta area. We are seeking an experienced Refrigerator Appliance Repair Technician to support increased demand.

This is a contractor / part-time position with flexible hours. We are open to offering:

• Pay per completed repair

• Weekly pay, depending on volume and arrangement

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair refrigerators

• Recondition used appliances for resale

• Occasionally repair washers, dryers, dishwashers (preferred, not required)

• Perform repairs both in-store and, at times, at customer locations

• Manage your own schedule based on workload

Requirements

• Proven experience in refrigerator and appliance repair. Any formal coursework related to refrigerator appliance repair you have taken would be a plus! We want to deliver high quality, durable repairs and not have lingering issues with customers after the fact. Common issues that have served as friction points: refrigerator leaks, refrigerator not cooling, icemaker problems, etc.

• Own transportation

• Own tools

• Ability to source and purchase necessary OEM or equivalent-quality parts for successful repairs (we have covered this ourselves in the past, but assistance here would reduce friction in the process)

• Personality wise: Can take direction well and get along with others on the team. We currently have 5 people who work here regularly.

Preferred but not required

• HVAC certification

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

• Ability to service additional appliance types

Compensation

• Pay per repair or weekly pay, depending on agreement

• Bonus opportunities based on volume of completed work
