Job Title : Payroll Associate

Status : Temporary Contract

Office Status : Fully Remote

Schedule: Full Time/ 35 Hours Per Week

Hourly Compensation : $25.00

Target Hire Date :07/01/2025

Target End Date : 12/31/2025 (possibility of extension)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Record, maintain, check, and balance timecards
• Process salary changes through payroll for accurate calculation of employees' pay
• Prepare input for automated payroll system or manual records
• Compile and calculate pay, including deductions, taxes, incentive earnings, overtime, sick pay, and holiday pay
• Compile payroll data, error reconciliation, and maintenance of payroll records
• Enter payroll information into computerized payroll systems and assist in preparing payroll checks
• Answer questions from employees and supervisors regarding payroll matters
• May maintain records on vacation, sick leave, etc.
• May assist with governmental reporting/compliance
• May compile and calculate special reports involving complex calculations such as employee benefits
• Work under direct supervision following a prescribed set of guidelines and instructions

EXPERIENCE DESIRED

• At least 2 years of related accounting/payroll experience
• Must have strong Excel, pivot tables, payroll, time keeping skill
• Nationwide payroll is a plus
• Tax experience is a plus
• ADP and Workday are a plus
