You will contribute directly to Miller’s organic growth and be part of a successful team. Join us as a Territory Sales Manager and play a key role in expanding Miller's presence in the Northeastern region. What You Will Do & Impact: As a Territory Sales Manager, you will oversee the Northeast Territory, including Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Eastern Canada. Candidates must reside in Pennsylvania, New York, or New Jersey. Your responsibilities include: Build and Strengthen Relationships: Collaborate with OEM & local upfitter partners to promote growth strategies benefiting all stakeholders. Strategic Account Development: Develop targeted account plans for upfitters and end users, ensuring inclusivity and diversity of perspectives. Sales Growth: Implement territory and account plans to grow sales and market share, recognizing diverse customer needs. Product Advocacy: Promote product trials and demonstrations, leveraging technical specialists to support conversions and cross-selling. Market Understanding: Understand and address drivers and pain points within target markets using evidence-based sales strategies. Training Coordination: Coordinate upfitter training, accommodating diverse learning styles. Marketing Support: Work with marketing to ensure campaigns are inclusive and reflect diverse perspectives. Industry Representation: Represent Miller at industry tradeshows and events, engaging with diverse audiences. New Product Development Support: Serve as a liaison to incorporate diverse perspectives in new product development. Pipeline Management: Manage sales opportunities through prospecting and CRM updates, aiming to expand business relationships. Effective Communication: Communicate inclusively at all levels, building strategic relationships with appreciation for diversity. Territory Management: Prioritize key accounts and activities, leveraging resources to meet diverse needs. Minimum Education and Experience: At least 5 years of related sales experience. Technical Certificate, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in Technical or Business disciplines (required). Success Factors: Proven ability to develop positive, inclusive customer relationships. Challenger mindset, capable of educating customers with sensitivity to diversity. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills appreciating diversity. Self-motivated, disciplined, and a team player in an independent environment. Willingness to travel extensively within the territory. Strong consultative and value-based selling skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Knowledge of construction, heavy equipment, work trucks, or equipment rental markets. Good technical aptitude regarding tools and equipment used on worksites. Compensation: Salary Range: The estimated annual salary range for this role is $96,000 to $121,000, depending on location, qualifications, and experience. The company offers regular salary reviews to ensure competitiveness.
