Ref #: 28650 Location: United States, Georgia, Atlanta Department: Delta Professional Services Application Deadline: 22-May-2025 Overview & Key Responsibilities Delta Professional Services (DPS) is the Flight Training & Standards provider for Delta Air Lines, its affiliates, and key industry partners. The Manager of Business Systems will oversee the Business Systems and data functions at DPS, leading a team of analysts and interns. This role involves developing operational metrics, supporting enterprise reporting, and managing tools like Smartsheet, the DPS data lake, and Power BI. The ideal candidate is technically proficient and operationally savvy, capable of translating data insights into business outcomes and guiding digital infrastructure evolution. This position reports to the General Manager of Business Systems & Services. Essential Functions/Tasks Implement and support Smartsheet to meet operational goals. Develop, deliver, and maintain operational metrics and reports. Lead Smartsheet deployment and scalability across teams. Maintain the DPS data lake, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. Implement and promote Power BI organization-wide, including governance and training. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and automation opportunities. Ensure data practices comply with security, privacy, and standards. Support the technology roadmap with data-driven transformation initiatives. Introduce new technologies to enhance organizational efficiency. Drive strategic projects aligned with long-term business vision. Create process maps and training materials for key systems. Foster cross-functional collaboration and influence skills. Participate in change management for new and existing technologies. Work with leadership on staffing and cost reporting. Additional Responsibilities Manage multiple priorities effectively, working independently or collaboratively. Apply business acumen and process improvement methods. Analyze data, derive insights, and suggest business model improvements. Communicate goals and metrics effectively across the organization.
