Community Health of Northwest Florida (CHNWF) is looking for a Director of Risk Management to lead and oversee our organization-wide risk management program.
This is a key leadership role where you'll play a critical part in ensuring patient and employee safety, minimizing organizational risk, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll work alongside the Executive Leadership Team, Human Resources, and other department heads to develop strategies, implement policies, and provide expert guidance on risk-related matters.

What You’ll Do✔ Lead and manage the organization-wide risk management program
✔ Oversee patient safety initiatives, infection control, and emergency preparedness
✔ Investigate adverse events, claims, and serious incidents to prevent future risks
✔ Provide expert guidance to leadership on compliance, legal matters, and risk mitigation
✔ Develop and present risk reports and recommendations to the Board of Directors and executive leadership
✔ Work collaboratively to develop training programs that promote a culture of safety
✔ Chair the Patient Safety/Risk Management Committee and drive improvement initiatives
???? Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or equivalent clinical risk experience
???? Risk Management certification and/or experience in healthcare settings
???? Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
???? Ability to interpret complex regulations and implement best practices
???? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis
???? Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) (preferred)
