Envocore, LLC is an established national leader engaged in the engineering, designing and installation of energy-efficient systems. Our company designs and installs projects for a wide range of Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Medical, Governmental, Institutional and Retail facilities across the United States.

Summary: The Construction Manager manages projects to ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s safety plan, quality standards, established specifications, schedules, and budgets; coordinates site functions to minimize delays; meets with Operations Manager on a regular basis to review project status and plan future actions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of projects following a logical pattern for utilization of resources and ensures that activities are conducted in accordance with the scope of work requirements.
  • Interfaces with customers on schedules, meetings, and problems. Keeps the customer informed of the project status.
  • Coordinates work of subcontractors working on various phases of the project. Oversees their performance and reviews engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.
  • Is responsible for proper administration of construction contracts and assuring that all necessary permits and licenses are available.
  • Maintains adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
  • Directs and measures technicians with respect to production volume, quality, and housekeeping and safety practices.
  • Performs periodic quality audits.
  • Establishes daily schedules and activities to support the project.
  • Conducts safety and group meetings as required.
  • Promotes good employee relations and recommend disciplinary measures when required.
  • Anticipates potential schedule or priority delays and initiates plans for alternative actions.
  • Travel to various job sites.

Competency:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Considerable flexibility of methods and planning required to meet program goals.
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a site superintendent or construction manager for commercial irrigation projects
  • Technical Expertise:
    1. Knowledge of irrigation systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
    2. Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and equipment.
    3. Understanding of water management and conservation techniques.
  • Project Management:
    1. Ability to plan, schedule, and oversee construction projects.
    2. Proficiency in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management.
    3. Risk assessment and mitigation skills.
  • Leadership and Communication:
    1. Strong leadership to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
    2. Clear communication skills for coordinating with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
    3. Conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple specialized subcontractors throughout the project life cycle.

Work Days: Monday-Friday (8am-4:30pm)
