Job Description

Our client in Tigard is growing and looking to add an Accounting Assistant to their team. If you thrive in a fast past environment, enjoy reconciliations and have a passion for problem solving, this role is for you! This is a full time, temp-to-hire opportunity paying up to $25 with benefits through Ledgent on day one!

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, ensuring that all reconciliations are up-to-date and accurate
- Investigate discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly
- Maintain detailed documentation of reconciliations for audit and internal reporting purposes
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve reconciliation issues and provide accurate financial data

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
